Church accepts the Bible as the revealed will of God.
It is the exclusive measuring device for our faith and practice.

1. The Scriptures Inspired
The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

2. The One True God
The one true God has revealed himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM”, the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:
a. His virgin birth.
b. His sinless life.
c. His miracles.
d. His substitutionary work on the cross.
e. His bodily resurrection from the dead.
f. His exaltation to the right hand of God.

4. The Fall of Man
Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.

5. The Salvation of Man
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

6. The Ordinances of the Church
a. Baptism in Water by immersion.
b. Holy Communion is open to all that express a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

7. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost
Jesus told his disciples to wait for what the Father had promised. A second experience with the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit that gives us authority and power.

8. The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost
We believe that speaking in tongues is the privilege of every believer.

9. Sanctification
Every believer needs to rid themselves of every stronghold through the power of the Holy Spirit.

10. The Church and Its Mission
The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission.

11. The Ministry
The three-fold purpose of ministry to God, to Saints, and to Sinners.

12. Divine Healing
By Christ’s stripes & wounds we are healed.

13. The Blessed Hope
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord.

14. The Millennial Reign of Christ
The Kingdom of God will be fully manifested.

15. The Final Judgment
Every man and woman will have to stand before God to be judged.

16. The New Heavens and the New Earth
When God’s Kingdom is fully manifested, He will create a New Heavens and the New Earth.
Our Vision

To build a congregation of believers that are fully ignited with the Kingdom of God.

Luke 3:16 But John intervened: “I’m baptizing you here in the river. The main character in this drama, to whom I’m a mere stagehand, will ignite the kingdom life, a fire, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.”

Our Mission Statement

To lift up Jesus locally and globally, to destroy the works of the devil, and to establish the Kingdom of God in the hearts of men.

  • Q: What is your church history?

A: In 2005, we became a church plant out of Carpenter’s Home Church (CHC), in Lakeland, Florida. Dr. Karl D. Strader, Pastor Stephen Strader’s father, was the head pastor at CHC. In 1966, Karl Strader brought his family to Lakeland, Florida. Pastor Stephen was only 10 years old. First Assembly built a new facility in 1975. By 1985 the church had expanded and they built a new sanctuary and they changed the name of the church to the Carpenters Home Church.

From the time the church began in the 60′s to the present, we have been right in the middle of whatever God was doing. We have participated in nearly a dozen moves of God including the Healing Movement, Charismatic Movement, Prophetic Movement, and the various Revival Movements. In 1993 and 2008 we held extended revival / outpouring style meetings that had an international impact with hundreds of thousands of people visiting our church from all over the world.
We are an equipping center, and desire to help foster the gifts within each individual, whether they are making this their church home or coming for ministry training. Many churches, missionaries, prophets, teachers, apostles and evangelist were birthed from our church. We are a church of Intercessors ruling the gates of our city and re-digging the wells of our Father. But most of all, we are a people who desire to live in the presence and glory of God while reflecting Him through our daily lives and being a shadow and type of things to come.
